Details
This LCD is for A1151 & A1212 model 17" Macbook Pros from 2006- early 2008. Figure out which model you have from the picture below.
You must have your machine open and make sure it does not use an LED backlit LCD. The way you can tell if your machine is CCFL backlit is by looking at the cables that go to the LCD. If one cable goes to the bottom of the LCD, it is LED backlit. If two cables go to the LCD - a cable with two wires on the bottom, and a ribbon cable that reaches to the top, then it is a CCFL backlit LCD. CCFL backlit LCDs have the ribbon connector on the top of the screen - LED backlit LCDs have the ribbon connector on the bottom of the screen.
